OPEN DAY of SA.PI.SE. – The great success of Italian Rice Seed´s Producer

SA.PI.SE. once again has shown his great power of call between the Italian and European rice producers.

The last day September 2 in Sali Vercellese (Vercelli, Italy) we have presented ROOT RICE and other our biotech products for rise production in the OPEN DAY of SA.PI.SE., the traditional Field Day organized by one of the largest Italian producer of rice seed. The aim of the OPEN DAY is to present innovations in rice-farming techniques to the farmers. This year at the OPEN DAY participated specialists of the rice sector of all rice producing areas in Europe, United States and Brazil.

The main part of the presentation of ROOT RICE did representatives of SA.PI.SE explaining very well each beneficial effect of the product they have seen in the treated fields. In the following video you can see how General Manager of SA.PI.SE. Massimo Biloni presents ROOT RICE.

This year we have presented the field experiences, whose implementation and follow-up have assured the Technical Director of EDYPRO Vicente Puchol in collaboration with the Technical Representants of SA.PI.SE.: Diego Greppi, Simone Zanazzo, Claudio Pellegrin, also we have demonstrated the evolution of plants and seeds treated with ROOT RICE compared to control.

Thanks to very careful monitoring of sowings carried out with seed treated with ROOT RICE both representatives of SA.PI.SE. and farmers in whose fields this follow-up has been done have had the opportunity to notice all the benefits that brings the product to the rice plant:

• Uniformity on the germination and the further development of the plants;
• Development of a large and healthy root system, with a significant number of hairs that facilitates the assimilation of nutrients and rooting in sandy soils with difficulties of introduction of plants;
• A level of stable and continuous nutrition which gives the plant a deep green color and a certain resistance to fungal attacks.

In the photo below you can see that plants treated with ROOT RICE have a more intense green and are less affected by Helminthosporium.

It was a great satisfaction for us to see our customers who apply ROOT RICE and other our products for rice production: EDYFRUIT ARROZ, MELASTOP, PODIUM ARROZ who confessed us they have good expectations about the harvest that begins these days.

The farmers´ interest and their desire to buy rice seed treated with ROOT RICE makes us to intensify the collaboration with SA.PI.SE. in technological innovation for the production of rice.
